While some classic rock musicians have formed successful “all star” bands, what is unique about Big Noize is its heritage and concept. All members have a related and connected past. The artists they are associated with have featured many of the same musicians and shared the same fans: Ozzy Osbourne, Dio, Black Sabbath, Quiet Riot, Rainbow and Deep Purple. A Big Noize concert is a tribute to the bands that the members were integral parts of and a reunion for their extensive and loyal fan base. The set list is a explosion of anthems that topped rock and pop charts in the 70s and 80s and are still heard today!

After taking some well-deserved time off after last year's monster Heaven and Hell world tour, Ronnie will be heading off to the UK in March to begin writing the new Heaven and Hell record with the guys. Tony Iommi will then travel to LA to reunite with Ronnie, Geezer and Vinny to continue working on the record during April and May.

Well the Heaven And Hell tour has finally ended after performing 98 shows in 98 cities in numerous countries around the world, not bad! It was the best tour this band has every done and just playing with these guys again was totally amazing. No one in this band has ever let up or let down in all the years of playing together, it just kicked ass every night! I had the pleasure of trying to destroy the drums every night playing some of the heaviest rock classics in rock, nice! A big thanks to all the fans and family who have made this gathering a success and big thanks to the management and crew who made it happen.

The US tour has ended. Our thanks go out to Alice Cooper, Queensrÿche and to all the fans who came out and spent the evenings with us!! This so far has been an amazing world tour! Mid Oct we move on to Japan for 4 shows and Singapore for 1 show. The UK is our final leg of the tour with Iced Earth and Lamb Of God on the bill. It's great to end the tour where the roots of Black Sabbath started and Heavy Metal was born.

Well we just got back from 3 shows in Mexico. The venues were packed and the response was fantastic. They love it Loud and Heavy down there. great! Only our tough tour manager Roger got sick, everyone else survived. I am sitting here in Binghamton, NY looking forward to the first show Wens. of the US tour with Alice Cooper and good friends Queensrÿche. This show is going to kick ass!

Well we finished the last gig of the Australian Tour and it was fantastic! The fans are incredible, making us feel at home and welcomed. The band has not played Australia since 1980 so it was great coming back. We are off to New Zealand today for our last show of The "Down Under" tour in Auckland. We were really happy to have DOWN with us for this part of the tour, these guys kick ass every night!

Following the group’s successful spring tour, Heaven And Hell will again wow American audiences with its bewitching stage set and truly timeless, classic metal as Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice return for the second U.S.leg of the quartet’s continuing world tour. Set to launch on September 5, Heaven And Hell’s tour will stop in many cities not included on the previous leg and will feature opening sets from Alice Cooper and Queensrÿche. Tickets for the first 13 dates will go on sale the weekend of June 22 with more dates to be announced soon. There will also be a special fan presale for the first dates beginning Wednesday, June 20 at 12 Noon EST at http://heavenandhell.frontgatetickets.com. Last year, the iconic quartet reconvened to record a trio of songs for Black Sabbath: The Dio Years, a compilation that features essential songs by the short-lived, but beloved incarnation of Black Sabbath fronted by Dio. Dubbing the group Heaven And Hell after one of its signature hits, the band launched a much-anticipated world tour earlier this year. The group celebrated its first U.S. concert in 15 years with a sold-out performance at Radio City Music Hall. Recorded and filmed in its entirety, Rhino captured the historic concert for a CD and DVD release, Heaven and Hell Live From Radio City Music Hall, set for an August 28 release. Alice Cooper and Queensrÿche will join Heaven And Hell on the road this fall creating one of the year’s hardest-hitting triple bills. In addition to his duties as a rock ’n’ roll icon, Cooper is the host of the syndicated Nights With Alice Cooper radio show. Cooper’s autobiography, Alice Cooper, Golf Monster, was released last month. Queensrÿche is riding high on the success of last year’s Operation: Mindcrime II album and tour, which brought the group’s complete Mindcrime saga to the stage in its entirety. On July 3, Rhino will release CD and DVD versions Mindcrime At The Moore, which feature Queensrÿche’s performance in front of its hometown crowd at Moore Theatre in Seattle.

Putting to bed the longstanding rumors of a reunion tour, Heaven and Hell have announced their first tour dates for 2007. The tour will feature 11 Canadian shows, along with an exciting one-night-only performance at one of the most prestigious venues in the world, New York's Radio City Music Hall. Heaven and Hell reunites Ronnie James Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice for the first time in 15 years. Currently there are 12 scheduled stops, starting on March 11 in Vancouver and ending on March 30 in New York City. The Heaven And Hell world tour will continue until the end of the year with shows in the US, Asia and Europe. Additional dates will be announced shortly. Multi-platinum recording artist Megadeth will be joining the tour, previewing never before heard material from their upcoming release on Roadrunner Records, United Abominations. The tour also brings the return of Down, featuring Philip Anselmo and Rex Brown from Pantera, as well as Pepper Keenan of COC. The heavy metal icons are also scheduled to release a new anthology entitled Black Sabbath: The Dio Years. Anticipated release date is 4/3/07 on Rhino/Warner Bros. Records. While on holiday in Canada I was invited to come and play drums at Hadley Junior High School in Hull, Quebec. A school my nephew attends. There were 300 plus screaming 12-14 year olds there to check me out. From the moment I walked out to play theses kids were on fire and ready to ROCK! They were a fantastic audience, asking questions and coming up and playing along with me, which made me feel like JACK BLACK in the movie “School Of Rock”! This drumfest was also covered by CBC radio Canada. My Special thanks to the school principal Terry, asst. principal Monica and music teacher Karen Mckee as well as my nephew Curtis!

The George Lynch tour has been over for a few weeks now and I am able to hear again. I had a great time playing with George, Andy, and Martin. George was pretty damm good!!! That was the loudest band I have played with in a long time. I had to kick myself up a notch to make sure you could hear the drums! Once I learned all the songs (the last show) we really kicked some ASS!...special thanks to ED who fix all the broken parts along the way........ VA

My family and I lost our dear beloved father Carmine Appice Sr.yesterday. Together with our Mom he raised four kids including two very noisy rock drummers! He worked very hard to pay for the things we needed in life and also the extras like drum lessons for both Carmine and I. He even replaced two basement ceilings (in NY) destroyed first by Carmine practicing the drums and years later by me!. He along with Mom would always come see us play no matter what the hour! May God bless his soul.....POP ROCKED!!!!!!!! Vinny & Justine Appice

The Hollywood ALL-Stars show at Paladino's in LA was great!! Special guests Phil Soussan (Ozzy) play bass, Claude Schnell (Dio) joined in on keyboards on "Last In Line". Erik Norlander also jammed on keyboards on a few Zep songs and later on brother Carmine got up and played 3 LOUD songs together with Vinny .. a little drum war was started!! The crowd went crazy!!! The Vanilla Fudge/Lizards European tour has ended and Vinny has survived! "That was a fun tour and I only beat Carmine up once!" Jamming with Robert Plant in England was worth the price of admission alone! Vinny will be appearing with The Hollywood Allstars on May 21-04 at Paladinos in Reseda, California. Vinny Appice & Jimmy Bain continue working together on a new project called "Three legged Dog". European Tour Update Vinny Appice has been asked to man the drums on the upcoming European tour with the New York rock band The Lizards, (John Garner, Patrick Klein, Randy Pratt ) They will be opening all the dates for The Vanilla Fudge. Vinny subs for regular-Lizards drummer Bobby Rondinelli, who has conflicting dates with Blue Oyster Cult. Says The Lizards Randy Pratt, "With the two Appices in tow and our vocalist John Garner, who used to play drums in the legendary Sir Lord Baltimore, we have one of the most impressive drum-family trees in all of classic rock”. This is a very special tour for both Vinny & Carmine because it is the first time in their careers that the brothers are on tour together on the same stage. Vinny says: “ This is great! It gives me the opportunity to kick Carmine in the ass every night” Carmine responds: “Vinny will learn a great deal from this tour opening for me”. This could be Drums Wars 2004!
